PLEASE PRAY

Friends,

I am asking for prayer for one of my students, Logan Prickett. Logan is one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet but he had an accident a year ago and is still trying to recover. I REALLY want his Christmas wish to come true. He wished for his sight to come back and speedy recover. PLEASE pray for this sweet ......child. You can follow his story here:
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/loganprickett.
Dispite his disability he has a perfect 4.0 gpa. This is the season of miracles. I KNOW he will recover and regain his sight. IF the children of God will pray, I know this Christmas wish can come true.

Thanksgiving pics and more

Not much time to talk but I wanted to post some pictures of Elijah and Thanksgiving.

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas

Our house is officially decorated. The presents are bought, wrapped and at my parent's house awaiting Christmas. We learned real quick with Elijah that breakable ornaments can't go on the tree. We were forced to by plastic or metal. I think it turned out good. What do you think?

Since we are completely finished with buying Christmas, I figured I would take advantage of the free time and catch up on some crafts for Elijah's room. EVENTUALLY, it will completely be dinosaurs. (Special thanks to my husband for all the help) I also managed to make some Christmas presents for co-workers. Here are the finished products:

Bloggers Unite- Fight for Preemies

This is a very special cause for me because my son was preemie. The March of Dimes is a great foundation that helps preemies have a fighting chance. So rally with me and make others aware of this cause.

Since Then....

Since I have posted last alot has been going on in our world. Elijah has learned to sound out all of the letters of the Alphabet and identify all sorts of animals when we do flash cards. He has also became curious about EVERYTHING. He has gotten 2 more molars and several other teeth, learned to feed himself with a spoon and is learning new things daily. He has learned to blow kisses and LOVES to give Noggin (his form of love where he touches his head to you and rubs from side to side. SOOO cute). He is growing up so fast. Sunday my little boy will be a year and a half. Here are some recent pics:

As Promised

I promised that when I finished my room I would post some more pictures. So Here they are. Everything is finished as far a my part but they still have to put in the smart board and the computers. I am working from home today because I don't have access to the internet at school yet.

I know you may be thinking to yourself that their is not a whole lot of decorations on the wall but my principal is not sure what adhesive we can use that will not take of paint so until we figure that our there is to be no decorations. Any Suggestions.

To end here is a picture of my two favorite boys.

Good out of bad.and much more.

I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything but my sweet 14 month old has been keeping me pretty busy. Not to mention the fact that I am starting a new job. That is where this blog begins. I was let go from my job at Prattville High School in Prattville AL to make room for Yet another Football coach. The rest of the details as interesting as they are, are not important. There is however a silver lining to the story. I have a new job at a new school in Montgomery County, Johnnie R. Carr Junior High. Here are some pics of my new school.

I have also been working on some crafts for my son and new niece. That along with spending all my time playing with me son is pretty much all I do all day. There are some pics of crafts and of Elijah.

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life

My husband is super dad. He works all day and comes home and takes over dad duty. At night he is mostly responsible for Elijah. He feeds him supper, get his bath and puts him to bed. All of this so I can sit down and prepare for class the next day. I love you so much honey. His daddy is Elijah's favorite toy. About 5:30 Elijah starts calling for his daddy, knowing that he will be home soon. It is moments like this

thst show everyone how great a dad you really are. I love you so much honey.

Since then

I know it has been a while since I posted so I am going to fill you in on what has been going on. First of all, I was let go from my job because they needed my job for yet another football coach at Prattville High School (like 25 isn't enough). So, I am looking for a teaching job in history. Please pray for this because my family would have to struggle on one income. Enough about that.

I am out for the summer and am loving spending time with my son. We went last weekend to the beach with Susannah McCord and her family and had an awesome time. (Thanks Susannah) Here are some pictures of Elijah's first trip to the beach.
